'NUFF SAID.
I don't know about you - but NO-ONE I know is in the 1%. And for those misguided miscreants who actually think our current system works, you need to look past the soundbites. Reading and learning the facts are often quite enlightening when you make the effort.

Right on! Have you been down there yet?
I haven't as yet - but would if I didn't have to work, which seems like the wrong excuse for some reason. To this point, we've been disappointed in ourselves for not showing up - but we will. In the near few weeks there are several events planned here on LI - and those we will attend too.
We're signing petitions and sharing what information I can, but I grow more and more frustrated every day when I hear people who are barely getting by still supporting tea baggers and other ridiculous party lines.
It's amazing to see and hear people struggling with debt and having difficulty affording health care still spouting out how it's all Obama's fault, and supporting more tax credits for the 1%. They can't see through the haze of lies and propaganda that it's the system that's broken, and that our middle class is not going to be saved by a political party, or Jesus for that matter.
The fact that there's still so many who believe the crap spouted out there by outlets such as Faux News is quite distressing. The whole Occupy movement is really based on creating awareness to the problems - yet too many citizens choose to ridicule the protestors as unorganized, misguided hippies lacking a clear message. If they only realized that it's the typical American that they're trying to help - perhaps they'd feel otherwise. But, such is not the world we live in.
Ranting as usual, sorry. I do tend to offer long responses to short questions.
